We were staying in another Christchurch hotel which was about a 15 minute walk away. The Mayfair is a little off from the CBD but walkable. Because it was my birthday, I believe our room was upgraded and we were quite happy with all aspects of the suite, from all goodies to bathrobes to a motion sensor nightlight on the way to the bathroom.

Getting breakfast served in the room (without surcharge) was definitely the right choice. Easy parking, close to the town centre (quick drive or short walk). Would stay again!

Wake up to stunning views of the Kaikoura Mountains and the sea at Panorama Motel. Our units are all ensuite and smoke-free. This location has the most magnificent view! It's also within walking distance of the beach, shops, restaurants, bars, and a lot of activities. If you are traveling to Kaikoura, you MUST stay here. The owners were helpful and friendly, and very patient with our change in plans for check-in and check-out. The room was excellent; there was a bed in it's own room and another in the living room with a clear view of the beach! A full kitchen was in the room, and parking was convenient. Everything was very clean and comfortably cozy.
