And that signature scent that carries through every corner, it’s unbelievable how they maintain it so consistently; it instantly lifts your mood. It’s easy to see why this place is recognized as a natural treasure. Within just a few hours of exploring, you begin to appreciate the care, history, and beauty that make it so special. Plus, its location is perfect , just steps from the riverside and the heart of town. Truly a remarkable experience from start to finish. I can’t wait to return!

Nestled between the Tennessee River and the foothills of Appalachia sits The Hotel Chalet. Stayed in the sleeper car. Best shower I’ve had in my life. Radiant heating in the floor in the bathroom. Adorable. Best staff I’ve ever seen in a hotel: I reported a loose bike seat in the exercise room, and the maintenance guys were in the room before I finished talking to the front desk. Above and beyond. On site restaurant was fantastic.
