The waterfront views from our room were stunning — we could see surfers riding waves and boats gliding across the sea just yards away. The hotel also has great shops inside, making it convenient and enjoyable to explore.

Located in the heart of Waikiki, 2 minutes' walk to Waikiki Beach, Halepuna Waikiki is a luxury boutique hotel surrounded by shopping and dining. The property was designed by internationally acclaimed interior design firm, Champalimaud and features works of several Hawaiian artists in partnership with The Honolulu Museum of Art public art program. This was honestly, one of the only times where I've stayed at a hotel and the room looked EXACTLY as it's shown in the photos-- Every other time you can tell the photos have been strategically taken, but not here! The location is great, the room was exceptional; the view was stunning, it's wonderfully quiet, the pool is beautiful and all the staff were incredibly helpful.

All units come with a balcony, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and a microwave, and a private bathroom with shower. A toaster, a fridge and stovetop are also offered, as well as a coffee machine. At the homestay, the units have bed linen and towels. The Bamboo House is absolutely stunning, and so relaxing. Not only do you have a beautiful room (with walk-in wardrobe, lovely bathroom) and a private balcony, you also have full (shared) use of downstairs areas to relax in - a lounge, huge kitchen, and an amazing outdoor space that is unreal. I just couldn’t believe how beautiful The Bamboo House is. I really wished I had booked longer!

Set just 11 km from Kaloko-Honokohau National Historic Park, The Koi House with Pool offers accommodation in Kailua-Kona with access to an outdoor swimming pool, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Kealakekua Bay is 18 km away and Kealakekua Bay State Historical Park is 22 km from the homestay. The host greeted us upon our arrival late at night and happily shared about all the exceptional amenities. Beautiful shared space for a short stay with a beautiful ocean view and access to an inviting swimming pool. We did not make the time to enjoy the pool on this visit; next time. The space was well organized with bins to store food items and access to fridge space on a nice outdoor veranda overlooking plush trees and a spectacular view of the ocean. Thank you for a wonderful first stop on the island. Great first impression!

Boasting garden views, Hoomaikai Blessings features accommodation with patio, around 12 km from Lava Tree State Park. A hot tub is available for guests. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The hostess / owner , Kelly is the best ! She makes sure you enjoy your stay .

Featuring views of the sea, all units in the property come with private entrance and a pool with a view. There is a private bathroom with hot tub in all units, along with a hair dryer and free toiletries. At the homestay, all units include bed linen and towels. Situated on the side of the house- a very spacious, spotless clean bedroom and huge bathroom. Coffee and tea provided, limited cooking, we ate when out exploring the area. Shops and restaurants about 15min drive away.

The property has garden views and is 24 km from Lava Tree State Monument and 45 km from Pana'Ewa Rainforest Zoo. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen and full-day security for guests. The property is absolutely wonderful. Nice, natural landscaping that let's you feel immersed in the Hawaiian rainforest. Feels very secluded and private, while also feeling safe and welcoming. Its walking distance to a black sand, clothing optional, beach. I will definitely book here again when visiting the Big Island. I would feel safe here as a solo traveler. Stephen greeted us when we arrived to the property and was so welcoming. I immediately felt at ease in his presence. He gave us a tour and showed us to our rooms, let us know how to reach him if we needed anything. Our smoke alarm was going off one night and he came right over, checked it out and swapped the battery, fixing the problem. I traveled with a friend and we each had separate rooms. The house feels more home like, relaxing front porch, solid wood furniture, and everything you'd need. Both rooms were clean and beds comfortable. At first, I thought my bed may be too soft, but I slept SO good and woke with no pains, feeling refreshed, so it must have been just right. Bath and beach towels were in our rooms, a bathrobe, a list of hosted and local activities we may be interested in, and a little bowl of snacks too. I also appreciated they had sunscreen and bug spray available.

The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and free WiFi throughout the property. Amazing location, nice ambiance and aesthetics. With star gazing terasse, so nice to see stars / sunrise. People were nice, gave tips and were all smiling.
