This was such a nice surprise. The hotel was beautiful and very comfortable. It is on the university of Maine campus. It is about a mile or 2 to restaurants and a little further to the oreno boardwalk. So happy we stayed here and highly recommend it.

The location is great and walking distance to The Old Port. We visit Portland annually and have stayed at the location previously. We enjoy the neighborhood and the apartment affords us room and space to function efficiently.

Bass Cottage & Ullikana is everything you could want from a New England Inn. Ideally located right in the middle of town. The whole property is comfortable and welcoming offering several gorgeous living rooms to sit and relax in. Our room was wonderful, incredibly comfortable and very spacious with all the amenities you could need. The breakfast each morning is delicious and delightfully present while the afternoon tea is a lovely touch. Walker is an incredible host and made our stay absolutely perfect. When we come back to Bar Harbor, there is no other place we would stay!
