Everything about this well located guest house is excellent. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The host who checked me in was charming. The breakfast was delicious and perfectly cooked and there was plenty of options from the buffet table. There is a sparkling pool to cool off in and the gardens are picture perfect. The communication from the owner was prompt, giving direction before arrival, to dealing with all my requirements. If only everyone run there business like this it would be a pleasure to travel. I will definitely be using this guest house on all future visits to Cape Town. Can highly recommend.

The Security welcomed me to the building, they were kind and helpful for my entire stay. The facility is clean , and quiet. I could do my assignments without distractions .

I had a fantastic time at the cottage and the host was incredibly attentive. Keeping me alert of any changes in the area, sharing local locations with me and ensuring a clean and some treats every morning.

Our host was accommodating with meeting us when we arrived, as our arrival time had changed. They arranged for someone to be there for when we arrived. There was good communication with our hosts too. They showed us around and let us know every couple of days when loadshedding would happen, so that we were prepared. They had an inverter so that when the electricity went off, we could still watch television and use the internet if we needed. They suggested nearby places we could go see which was useful. The place was clean and tidy, and had all amenities, kettle, tea / coffee, towels and there was a lot of storage space for our clothes and suitcases. The pool was also very clean. We had an area that was private to us as well, but it was good to know out hosts were nearby if anything was needed. We were there for two weeks, so we had a mid week clean, which was nice.

Our room included a large bed, small bed and couch with coffee table and side table, television,and plenty of dressers and storage area. It had a kitchen/bar section with refrigerator and freezer, microwave, hot plate, coffee/tea pot, sink, etc. It included 2 bathrooms. We had our own outdoor patio with big fireplace to “braai” (bbq) and tables and chairs and lounge chairs, plus access to an outdoor pool with a garden. We really enjoyed our hosts, Pieter and Annie, and their granddaughter Anika. They were so pleasant and very helpful with providing information such as links to laundry services or addressing our television needs. The neighborhood is very safe and there is a wonderful restaurant (Knead) just around the corner for breakfast and lunch. We had a wonderful time!

The garden is beautiful, the location is easy to find and close to points of interest.
