The Motel was very Central. The Staff were beautiful and the bonus of a Chinese Restaurant upstairs, so did not have to travel for a meal. The rooms had great air-conditioning for the weather we had.

The air conditioning on arrival is superb, very important in Broken Hill. The stair case is wide and easy and the hotel has an excellent central location and yet is very quiet. The rooms are spacious and the first floor balcony is excellent, especially for New Year's Eve.
Sadly the restaurant, which was outstanding ion past year's, is no more due to COVID.

If travelling to South Australia do not take fruit, vegetables with you as bio security laws prohibit these entering that state.

Broken Hill is a great place to visit.
Broken Hill is a great place to visit. Lots of history, great pubs & places to eat. Silverton is a must to visit as is The Living Desert & Sculptures & Pro Hart Gallery also. Visit the Info Centre - they will give you plenty of information. A car is necessary for sightseeing unless you are on an organised trip.
