Offering a connection to the airport terminals via a pedestrian skybridge, this award-winning hotel is located in Melbourne and features an indoor heated pool, spa, sauna and steam room. We only stayed at the hotel for 6 hours until our next flight. It's literally 2 minutes away from the airport, which makes it optional for travelers. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the premises are really impressive, since there is no annoying sound even if the planes fly over the hotel every once in a while. I didn't use the restaurant this year, but from my experience last year the food was really good and worth the wait.

Just 500 metres from Melbourne International Airport, ibis Budget - Melbourne Airport offers air-conditioned rooms with a flat-screen TV, a desk and a private bathroom. It was very close to the airport. Exactly what we expected for a budget price. We only stayed a few hours as we had an early flight the next morning.
