I think is a great natural place.

I think is a great natural place. City management appears to have loose the ability to manage the over population. Just a feeling. There are many beautiful places. Access to Atlantic side beaches are difficult. The best side in safety and gourmet restaurants is the Riberao da ilha. Oyster are fresh, ready for eating raw. A lot of oysters farms. Flávio Kilpp realtor ethic and knowledgeable about this side of the island. Totally recommend. Ostradamus restaurant. Pousada Ecomar a great place to be. Carlos, manager will make your day. Empório sul floripa, good seafood and Manuel attention was amiable. We are Not young people. We are baby boomers. We travel by car from Espírito Santo state. Santa Catarina state, is very European in her culture, due to German and Italian heritage.

Kind of stopped by on accident and then I didn't want to...

Kind of stopped by on accident and then I didn't want to leave! In Central, went salsa dancing on the pier on Sunday night, spent time at the mall, and ate at Merci. Stayed a few days in Barra Da Lagoa, hiking and exploring the trails at a tree house hostel with gorgeous views. Then stayed in Morro Das Pedras south of Campeche, which was absolutely divine. Laid out on soft sandy beaches and on grass at a peaceful lagoon. Danced forró at Tio Gatheras bar to a live band. Its the kind of place you never want to leave.

Would like to spend winters here.

Would like to spend winters here. Location was actually nice, we drive the entire island and being down south so much better. Closer to beaches, and the town, and airport. and traffic was rather Hectic
