Stanley Park excellent, good walking routes.
Stanley Park excellent, good walking routes. Ate at 'Top of Vancouver' one night to celebrate my wife's birthday. Granville Island super craft area, also location of ferry/False Creek cruise. Busses very cheap, c£2.15 anywhere for seniors.Guest review byKennethUnited Kingdom - 10.0
North Vancouver is cleaner and more outgoing than downtown...
North Vancouver is cleaner and more outgoing than downtown area. Just about 5km to Capilano from this area. Lots of great restaurants and cafés at the Pier. Drinks and dinner at Joey’s, not too pricy and great presentation and taste of food. Easy access to downtown via SeaBus.Guest review byKajsaSweden - 10.0
Stanley Park (Aquarium) and Grouse Mountain and Capilano...
Stanley Park (Aquarium) and Grouse Mountain and Capilano Bridge are a must. Davie and Drake streets area are a bit dodgy with laneways exhibiting the homelessness dilemma. The number of legal cannabis shops is a bit of a turn-off. If only they could look less dodgy. Most parts of the city and surrounds towards Queen Elizabeth Park (a must) are green and a delight to stroll through. Good Public Transport (get a Compass Card). Advice to city officials...please pressure clean footpaths once a week. This goes for most of the Canadian bigger cities.Guest review byPhilipAustralia - 10.0
North Vancouver is a very relaxing place to drive around...
North Vancouver is a very relaxing place to drive around away from downtown because of the traffic. Suspension bridge is the best place to visit, some of the parks are great too like the spin needle. Our stay was shoert so didn't have enough time to visit other places.Guest review byVIVIANUnited States - 10.0

Nestled against the stunning backdrop of the North Shore...
Nestled against the stunning backdrop of the North Shore Mountains, North Vancouver uniquely blends rugged nature with urban convenience. Its proximity to vast forests, including Lynn Canyon and Mount Seymour, offers a plethora of free hiking trails, from gentle riverside strolls to challenging mountain ascents. While perhaps not widely known for it, a few pockets in North Vancouver offer authentic and flavourful Persian cuisine ( Parse Persian Food is my favorite ), providing a delicious contrast to the area's natural bounty. This combination of accessible wilderness, complete with waterfalls and suspension bridges, and the occasional aromatic hint of saffron and cardamom, creates a truly distinctive character.Guest review byTheArabTravelerBahrain
