A magical corner of the Pacific Nuquí is pure paradise.
A magical corner of the Pacific Nuquí is pure paradise. Untouched nature, warm ocean water, and a deep connection to what really matters. Every sunset was breathtaking, and the peace of the place is something truly special. Between jungle hikes, river swims, and the constant sound of the waves, it was a soul-refreshing experience. I’d go back a thousand times!Guest review byAnsel AdamsUnited States - 10.0
Nuquí is fantastic, it's a jewel lost in time.
Nuquí is fantastic, it's a jewel lost in time. The town itself not so much, as it's very small, very lacking as it's so remote and largely forgotten by the federal government. This is not the fault of Nuquí, and is not a reason to not go there, I would definitely go back again. My first visit there was over 20 years ago. I just went again for 3 days, and I would definitely go back again. This is because being largely forgotten by the government (and the world) is both a curse and a blessing. The blessing is that it's still largely virgin and pristine. The jungle forests, the mountains and the ocean are spectacular, the fish and seafood are excellent, and the land gives all that you need – fresh water, coconuts, plantain, fruit etc. But being so remote, means that sometimes it's hard to find the basics, or the electricity will only run for part of the day. But the location is so amazing, you find that you can adapt to the local ways, because that is all there is, and that is ok. In fact, it's nice to change your rhythms and "disconnect" from the world. If there is a raw origin of Macondo that still exists in the world, it is in the Chocó del Pacífico region that surrounds the small town of Nuquí. It is unforgettable.Guest review byAlejandroMSUnited States - 4.0
The area of Nuqui is beautiful. Not nuqui the city itself.
The area of Nuqui is beautiful. Not nuqui the city itself. The beach in Nuqui was very dirty. The people in the city of Nuqui were not very welcoming and disrespectful. The costs of everything from tours to hotels to food was very expensive, especially for the service provided, everyone was not very nice. Would not recommend Nuqui city. Would maybe recommend the outside towns near it.Guest review byViolaArgentina
