Roseau is a pretty laid back city.
Roseau is a pretty laid back city. There are still a lot of old structures. I think that as the capital there needs to be more development. Walking the streets alone felt safe. I notice two things that need improvement. The bus need to have a route banner and the license plates needs to be colour coated to tell Taxi apart from minibuses. I like the ice cream on the port front near the museum. As a solo travel, it's expensive to sightsee and taxi Fare is pretty high. Better to travel with a group. Roseau is the capital, so you get the cruise ship crowds, but there are lots of places to see within walking distance. The local restaurant scene is somewhat disappointing, but the natural beauty of the island is outstanding. Trafalgar falls, Emerald Lake, Freshwater lake, Titou Gorge are all wihtin a 1 hour drive from Roseau.Guest review byNivedithaUnited States
