So clean apartments! In kitchen we found all tools we needed to make breakfasts. And also important that its very quiet place, didnt heard any cars or people around, recommend 100%!

quiet area, well maintained and cosy cabins. Privet traditional finish sauna you can rent (I did, I can definitely recommend it) Very helpful staff member (Katarina) I was off peak season that is why restaurant was only for breakfast. but I had clear information before booking so this is good. Unfortunately there was no option to rent eBike but Katarina helped me to find and rent. Suggestion maybe instead of complementary drink at arrival repellent for mosquitos would be useful :)

Apartment was clean and new. Communication was excellent with the hosts. I managed to book this apartment on very short notice 2 hours before I arrived as I had been hiking in UKK park for one week out of cell phone coverage. It was so nice to sauna and relax after the long hike.

Ivalo itself was cute.
Ivalo itself was cute. Not too touristy, much quieter than places close by and everyone so friendly with a well stocked supermarket. Not too many places to eat but it depends what you’re looking for. As a young family, it was perfect for us!

Ivalo is not big, but it is strategically positioned between Rovaniemi and Inari. Amazing location to admire the northern lights and visit Inari. Nature is incredible and it looks less touristy than Rovaniemi.

Best place to view Northern lights.
Best place to view Northern lights. Unique Husky ride , and snow mobile tours. Winter sports like skiing , cross country , snow walking.
Dreamy Winter Wonderland landscape ! Everything covered in snow is a picture perfect view .
Stay in a Glass Igloo cabin to view Northern lights ( weather permitted)
Renting a car is highly recommended , easy to get around even on an icy road . We used Alamo . Excellent car .
Book all your tours in advance to avoid disappointment .
Have fun and enjoy the cold . Be prepare to bring thermal clothing .
