After a long motorbike ride, I arrived in Maumere and was warmly welcomed by Herman. The homestay is beautiful and peaceful, with a relaxing patio and garden. Tea and coffee grown locally by Herman are available. My room was clean, comfortable, and had AC, big windows, and good Wi-Fi. The washroom was spotless and even had lovely plants. Helpful info about the area was provided, and communication was easy via WhatsApp. Herman kindly helped me exchange money and gave useful advice when my flight plans changed due to a volcano eruption. I enjoyed a peaceful sunset in the garden and slept very well. Though I stayed only one night, I felt truly cared for. Thank you, Herman and Susi, for the warm hospitality!

WiFi was working very good (they have few different ones). 2 swimming pools with view on the sea, and the breakfast was sensational. Hot water in the shower. An open wardrobe so you can easily store your stuff. We were there while they didn't have other guests so it was super nice.

We had a house all to ourselves + the garden. It was a beautiful Balinese styled house, with gorgeous wooden furniture. The bed was really comfortable. Unlike many other mosquite nets, this one made the bed feel more cozy rather than claustrophobic. Breakfast is also amazing and you can have coffee or tea at your discretion. It was really, really great and we would stay here anytime.

Location was great, accomodation was excellent and clean, food and staff presentation was excellent, very well organized resort pool was clean staff always friendly, definitely we will come back.

Nangalimas asuval 1 tärniga pärjatud majutusasutusel Anjo Maumere Hotel & Restaurant on aed, terrass ja baar. Peretubades on laste mänguväljak. Majutusasutuses on meelelahutusmeeskond ja toateenindus.... I was lucky to have picked Anjo for my visit to the Maumere area. It's a real gem, just 5 min from a quiet beach and 10 min from town. The service level of the entire staff is definitely up to western standards. The food in the restaurant was delicious and some of the fruits and vegetables come from the property's own garden. You might be tempted by some of the beach accommodations in the area, but the people I met in the restaurant and at a snorkeling tour who stayed closer to town all struggled with sleep due to traffic and karaoke parties, which seem common practice. They wished they had booked at Anjo. So, from one traveler to another: look no further.

We had a great time at happy divers. The location on the water is beautiful. Claudia the owner, is very friendly and helped us with many tips and organising a snorkelling trip.

The staff is truly exceptional—always smiling, patient, and extremely helpful in arranging everything we needed (motorbike rental, diving center, snorkeling trips, etc.). Excellent value for money. The food is delicious, and they are happy to accommodate special requests. They even surprised us with two cakes to celebrate our anniversary, which made our stay even more memorable.

The seclusion and remoteness was the appeal for us and it was everything we hoped for. Our arrival was delayed due to very strong winds and Virginie the host/owner was incredibly helpful in making alternative arrangements for us. Virginie is also a talented chef and we loved trying local Flores dishes as well as her European cuisine. We really enjoyed the diving with Antone, stress free and some beautiful macro as well as impressive giant fan corals. Visiting the villages on the island was also a highlight. The resort is very comfortable, lots of places to lounge and relax. It’s an island paradise and lucky are those who make the trip. Thank you for everything Virginie and Antone, this holiday will stay in our hearts and we look forward to come again.
