Stayed with a group of 10 friends to celebrate New Year’s Eve. The cottages were gorgeous and there was so much space for a group. It was very warm and cosy and the heat was on when we arrived. Beautiful decorated and it was located in a lovely quiet area a short drive (6-7 mins) from Charlestown where we were able to pick up a takeaway. The owners had left tea waters milk etc and the bathrooms were full with shampoos soap etc. The check in was easy and the owners were very helpful and easy to contact.

Set in Charlestown, 200 metres from Town Hall, Riverside Guesthouse features accommodation with a bar. The property is close to several noted attractions, around 100 metres from Costelloe Tomb. Breakfast was amazing outstanding chef and catered for all. Nothing was a bother and the quality of the food been served with the home made soda bread outstanding. Solo traveler and the advice given and the locals made this a very special treat.

It was a very cool place to stay. Got to meet their dogs, cat, and we even said hello to their horses and sheep. The night we were there was quite stormy but the pod was warm and dry.
