Het Carrygerry, gebouwd in 1793, is een charmant landhuis dat aan de schilderachtige Ierse kust van County Clare ligt. Loved this Manor type country house. Really quite an amazing surprise. I only booked as a sleep over on the way to Shannon. What a surprise to see it was a very professionally managed establishment. There was a bar and restaurant albeit we were not hungry. The room had a four poster bed. It was so traditional but not contrived like the touristy castles. We slept so well in a fab comfortable bed. The room was very big. Table and chairs, walk in wardrobe/ dressing room. It is a fine country house from a bygone Anglo Irish day. It was Christmas week and there was a display of country Christmas hampers for sale with local produce in the lobby. Very reasonably priced compared to the rubbish in the big shops in Dublin. No pressure to sell either. I would certainly stay again and hopefully have time for breakfast next time. We loved it. Thanks to all the staff.

Judith was very accommodating and helpful with any questions that I had during my stay. It is a short walk to some shopping and restaurants. With that said, I would recommend having your own transportation; however, I am not sure that its entirely necessary.

The Oak Wood Hotel, voorheen bekend als The Oakwood Arms Hotel, ligt naast het winkelcentrum Skycourt in het hart van de stad Shannon. Het bevindt zich op ongeveer 5 km van de luchthaven Shannon. It was very spacious yet cozy and quaint. Brian and Ona were very pleasant and had genuine smiles.

A gorgeous location, so quiet and peaceful with lovely views of the castle and out over the water. The hosts were so kind and friendly, it really felt like home from home. We stayed for 3 weeks while waiting for our new house to be ready and the property provided everything we could possibly have needed.

Cosy Room bevindt zich op 13 km van Dromoland Golf Course, 14 km van Dromoland Castle en 19 km van Thomond Park, en biedt accommodatie in Shannon. I was absolutely shocked at the price of the property! It was clean, lovely home, beautiful room and the heat was so welcome after the cold evening we had travelling. The host was amazing and even rang to make sure we had gotten to property.
