Bhubaneswar is an interesting city.
Bhubaneswar is an interesting city. We were mainly interested in seeing the temples in and around the Bindu Sagar Lake and the hills of Khandagiri and Udaygiri. These two areas are covered in the course of a single day by the local taxis (~INR 1500 to 1700 a day). There are other attractions like the Nandankanan Park, which may add time to the itinerary. There are plenty of eateries in Bhubaneswar. Our favourite was Dalma, (named after a local dish), a no-fuss place with two locations, which is a great place to try a variety of local dishes. Bhubaneswar is also a good base to visit Konark, Puri and Cuttack, since the distances are not very much, but staying in the locations is a better option for obvious reasons. Be prepared for the usual dust, heat, potholes, chaotic traffic and have fun.

The hotel was not as show in the picture the room was very small. There is no lift for the building, no maintenance for the hotel the pillow cover and bedsheet and comforter are already used one they provided there hair on the bed and to the bedsheets and the pillow cover are not washed at all they are full to sweat smell. When i asked the management regarding the issue that pillows are sweat smelling and fhe bedsheets are used bedsheet there is hair and etc on the bed sheet. They replied for that the laundry people didn't come so we are providing used onces only they answered for it. They didnt provide Ac remote There is no connection for the tv There is no wifi for that hotel There is No cleanliness and neatness for the rooms. Better stop the hotel promoting from your side and stop bookings from ur side. I was totally upset for the booking and the worst experience i had with it

Bhubaneshwar is a nice modern city.
Bhubaneshwar is a nice modern city. Tradition and modernity are beautifully blended together. This is one of the oldest cities of India which is continuously inhabited. The beautiful ancient temples in the city make a visit to the city worth.

A wonderful city with a lot to see and eat.
A wonderful city with a lot to see and eat. Getting around is also very easy now with ola and uber! Visiting Konark and Puri are a must. The Lingaraj mandir and Dhauli Stupa are also worth visiting. Dont forget to pick up stone and wood carved souvenirs along with some ikat clothing. And ofcourse dont leave without savouring the taste of rasgullas and chennapoda!

Bhubaneshwer is beautiful place with rich number of trees and plants ,appreciations toBhubaneshwer municipal corporation ,maintaining cleanliness rather than so many other cities Just we suffered in puri Jagannath temple Bhagavan darshanamu,no proper system like balaji thirumala temple andhra pradesh . Most of brokers , are there , including pandits and few villagers ,if govt looks this matter ,odisha become good tourist place
