I really liked the room itself, which was very spacious (as well as the bathroom), tidy, and quiet with the kettle and coffee and tea. The room was heated up before we arrived which was very nice. The beds were very comfy and also we had a view of the east so we could admire the sunrise which was great. Climatic and cozy place with tasty breakfast and cool background music :) I also like the surroundings and its closeness to the Höfn town (groceries, dinner, etc).

Host sent clear instruction and picture of entrance. Shower is warm. Love the spacious kitchen and dining area. Heaters were in every room. Bedsheets were very clean and comfortable. utensils and Oven are so clean and working so good.

Set just 1 km from Hornafjördur Airport. Free WiFi access. The Route 1 Ring Road is right next to the guest house. A seating area and work desk feature in all guest rooms at Seljavellir Guesthouse. Self check in. Room as expected. Beautiful setting and views. Peaceful. You can park right outside.

See eraomandis olev külalistemaja asub Islandi ringteest vaid 1 km kaugusel ja Höfni kesklinnast 4 km kaugusel. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by Pluto. Communication and checking in were seamless. The kitchen and common area are big. The kitchen is stocked w/cooking amenities along with info on places to see/go/eat in Hofn. The bathroom is spacious. The room was more than enough space for my friend and I. The room and facility are very clean. Without hesitation, I would stay here again.

Excellent location, very convenient to reach all the main attractions. Having a parking lot is a big plus. The view from our room was amazing, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We really appreciated the PIN code access to the room—no need to go to the reception, making check-in and check-out very convenient at any time. Highly recommend!

Just 5 minutes’ drive from Höfn in south-east Iceland, this hotel is found along Route 1, close to the country’s largest glacier Vatnajökull. Excellent view of the mountains! Good location and breakfast. Comfy bed. Friendly staff.
