Besides all extremely good, cozy and comfort with the room and sleeping conditions, this stay won the prize of “the best breakfast in Iceland” for this vacations.

Fálki cottages is located in Þórshöfn. This holiday home provides free private parking and private check-in and check-out. It was the best place we stayed in Iceland. Serene setting, cozy amenity, wonderful cabin. We would like to stay for more days next time when we visit Iceland again.

Set in Kópasker and only 36 km from Jokulsargljufur, Melar Guesthouse offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. A hot tub is available for guests. Had the whole guesthouse to ourselves. Very cozy; great hot tub; may be a bit crowded when fully booked.

Located in Skinnastadir, Dettifoss Guesthouse is 25 km north of Dettifoss Waterfall. It offers simple, modern rooms with shared bathrooms. WiFi and parking are free. We loved absolutely everything, one of the best guesthouses we ever stayed at! The kitchen and bathrooms were incredible, so modern and clean. The kitchen has everything, the beds were so comfy, the rooms very spacious. The whole place has such great ambiance! It’s “in the middle of nowhere” and we thought there would be no place to buy food or anything around since we arrived in the evening but the nearby gas station had basic groceries! Loved it!

Situated in Garður in the North Iceland region, Nordic Natura features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. This place was perfect! The cabin is well equipped with anything you could need. It is pretty remote, but that's the beauty of it. I've never experienced such quiet! We also saw the most amazing Northern Lights display of our life. The big windows in the cabin are all glass and look out over Ásbyrgi Canyon and we were even able to see the Northern Lights through the windows. The design of the house is very thoughtful. The parking is also right in front of the cabin. We wanted to extend our trip here, but it was unfortunately sold out. You won't regret booking here!

A good location for a relaxing stay in Vopnafjörður, Ásbrandsstadir Cottages is a holiday home surrounded by views of the lake. The location is great, you feel like you are at the end of the world, but in reality there is a small village not so far away. The host was very nice and helpful. The facilities are great, everything was working - you have even a washmachine at your disposal. Theoretically there are two separate rooms, but there is no door in between so it is like a one big room - which was not an issue for us. The beds were comfortable.
