We were even able to wash our clothes as the owner let us use her washing machine and dryer in the basement! Everything was great. We recommend the guesthouse Lyndhoft!

The husband and wife owning this guesthouse were absolutely wonderful! We recieved an amazing breakfast with homemade fresh bread. Got to say hi to the cute dogs of the farm as well. Would highly reccomend!

The cabin is well equipped with anything you could need. It is pretty remote, but that's the beauty of it. I've never experienced such quiet! We also saw the most amazing Northern Lights display of our life. The big windows in the cabin are all glass and look out over Ásbyrgi Canyon and we were even able to see the Northern Lights through the windows. The design of the house is very thoughtful. The parking is also right in front of the cabin. We wanted to extend our trip here, but it was unfortunately sold out. You won't regret booking here!

Stayed in the December for a couple of nights. Amazing atmosphere, beautiful canyon with a mountain views. We even got lucky with some northern lights! Comfortable worm cottage, short drive from the nearby village. And just to add for the story, our host Jon managed to receive from us status *An Absolute Legend * digging us from being stuck under a meter of snow morning after the stormy night (completely our fault by not parking the car closer to the road). Thanks Jon once more! 😊👑
