Antonella was very helpful showing how everything worked . It was spotlessly clean and a fully stocked kitchen for breakfast which unfortunately due to our early flight were not able to enjoy. I would totally perfect for walking to the airport and back

He told us the best way to go downtown, he helped us to find nearest (quite cheap) gas station and even in the morning we woke him up and told him that my wife forgot her phone inside apartment and Lorenzo drove there and my wife got her phone back. And we didn,t miss our flight!!!

Valentina was a great host.
Valentina was a great host. She welcomed us and showed everything we know. She offered pushbikes for us to use which was a nice surprise. At our check out, she gave us lift to bus stop which was so helpful cz its about 15mins walk and our bags was heavy and was too hot to walk. She may needed to go in town anyway but she waited for us which was kind. Definitely recommend this place to stay if you want to be a little out of town.

Pisa is a very relaxing, pleasant town to visit.
Pisa is a very relaxing, pleasant town to visit. Obviously the Leaning Tower is a drawcard but the local area is quiet pretty and pleasant to look at. Having a hotel in the heart of the town was a big bonus. Siting in the cafes eating and drinking was very easy to take and was quiet relaxing after the last few weeks of traveling.

People seem to come to Pisa for a day trip or maybe an overnight stay at most. You are missing out on a beautiful city that has ample charm, and walking friendly. I definitely had better food than Florence. You can take a 30 minute train to Lucca or go to the beach. Very easy to see surrounding areas.

Way better in real life, the tower is stunning along with the other monuments. The cathedral is beautiful inside. Buy a ticket which covers entry to all the monuments. Walking the city walls is also a good activity, takes about an hour, 5€ & lovely views. Easy to get around the city of foot. The Pisa Mover is a quick easy way to get to the airport for about €6 each way

The main drawcard of Pisa is the Tower, and it doesn't disappoint. If you are visiting you should buy tickets to climb the tower and take in the view. Not only is the view great, climbing the steps allows you to feel the lean of the tower which is something else! The baptistry and duomo are gorgeous and worth a visit along with the surrounding museums. Pisa was crazy during the day with all of the day tripping tourists, but calm and quiet in the evening and early morning allowing a great opportunity to have the tower to yourself.
