Its uber clean, all needed items like a shaver, slippers etc are provided. A free shuttle bus to the closest station is a massive advantage if you are flying out from KIX airport! The reception staff went an extra mile to help, can really recommend it.

The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless and had all the needed amenities. We especially liked its distance from Rinku Town station, at just about a 20 minute (relaxed) walk. It gave us easy access to the first train out to catch an early flight at Kansai airport. The check-in process was also very seamless.

Offering panoramic bay and airport views, Star Gate Hotel occupies the upper floors of a high-rise tower. It features 6 restaurants. The hotel is a 5-minute train ride from the airport. The hotel is in an exceptional location, basically attached to the side of the train terminal so you don't have to go anywhere, direct access to the shopping precinct next door and restaurants. We were on the 41st floor and the view was absolutely amazing, we booked an extra night so that we could stay right up to the last minute, nap, shower and pack before training across to the airport for our 10pm flight. The hotel has a beautiful foyer and elevators. The rooms are massive so plenty of room to spread luggage out. They kindly allowed us to check in a smidge early as we had a 3 month old baby who was making it known he wanted a nap, so they let us in our room early to be able to settle him.

I asked for a single room but they gave me a very big room with 2 beds. The staff were very kind and helpful. Clean towels and products you will need were placed in front of your room every morning. (toothbrush, slippers, towels and pajamas) 2 minutes away from the entrance of Rinku premium outlet mall. You can walk to the metro in 10 minutes. The nearest 7 eleven market was 5 minutes away. The hotel really exceeded my expectations. If I come to Japan again, I will definitely choose this hotel.
