The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant team was very good. Food was well prepared and timely when ordered.. The room was clean and it has all that is needed with a spacious bed and chairs and table for putting food to eat. It had a table and chair for reading which was very good for me.

Mombasa is a very laid back city, theres plenty of water sports to do. The north and south are not well connected but you should find everything you need in each part of town you pick. We went to Shanzu beach and we loved it there, our friends went to Diani beach and they enjoyed it too.
We loved planet yoghurt for their frozen yoghurt and also went to Char Chioma for a good vibe, dance and grilled meat.
People are generally very kind so its easy to find your way around should you need help or local recommendations.

Nyali has got all the beauties everyone imagines. Though the property I stayed in was not good due to lack of information while choosing, Nyali hosts all the epic places any person feels so excited. Am really amazed with Mombasa in general and Nyali in particular. Crime rate feels zero level. People are very supportive and amazing. Mombasa/ Nyali has been beyond my expectation! I enjoyed it!

Victoria courts is one of the worst apartment.. will not recommend to any visitor because you will not like the hospitality there.. the rooms were not as per my specification and they didn’t bother to listen to me after reaching out to them severally. I had booked for 5 nights fully paid but had to spend one night and forego the 4 nights. They didn’t refund my money though and the didn’t care. Clients be warned!!!

It is not a place for a holiday, I was there to check on some of my Property but I was frustrated because I ended up staying for more Days than I had wanted. It is loud and congested.but if one has his own home is Ok but there are other nice places to enjoy and have fun
It easy to get round Mtwapa, by Tax Tuk tuk and motor Bikes and public means of transport called Matatus.

We were a small group of five, we particularly enjoyed the Tamarind Dhow experience, which I recommend for everyone! There's also lots of other options for when at the apartment. We arrived late but the manager Angie showed us a restaurant just next door by the beach where we had a nice meal, I had the seafood platter and it was good and fresh!
Mombasa on the other hand can be hard to enjoy during the day especially because of the massive traffic jams and the bad driving, so moving around can be a bit hectic and draining.

You have to know that Nyali is not a quiet place. At night you can hear many nightclubs but at least they stopped at a certain time. The beach is also crowded but offers many different amenities. It is not an upscale destination like it used to be
