everything it’s absolutely beautiful, the hotel , location, staff are amazing, super friendly and nothing is a bother. we arrived late day one (our own fault) and on leaving they had a packed lunch ready for us to take as they said we had missed one of our lunches! if your looking for a authentic stay inside the Masai Mara park with the most fantastic setting wrapped around you then 100% recommend the Ashnil. we were a family of 5 - all adults and everyone adored it. lovely big swimming pool with sun lounge area ..

It was our second visit to Mara NP, but our first time sleeping within these grounds. Waking up with a river view and having zebras or hyenas or giraffes looking right across is mesmerising. The tent was clean, comfortable and spacious enough for three persons. Esmo was assigned to take care of us at meal times and he did a wonderful job. The meals were freshly prepared and very good. It was like a set menu and there was always a vegeterian option. The Masai also made us feel safe in the evening while escorting us.

I can't say enough good things about the camp.
Firstly, all of the staff were so kind and attentive - they made it clear that if there was anything we needed to let them know. Our game driver Denis who the camp organised for us was just brilliant, gave us the experience of a lifetime.
Secondly, the tents are so so nice - completely exceeded our expectations. They were spacious, super clean, had very comfortable beds and had lots of lovey finishing touches. Felt totally safe and you have a real feeling of being in nature. Always hot water which is important, and plenty of plug sockets.
Next, the food was very tasty - if you get an opportunity to try the fish and local beer do not miss out! Lunch and dinner each evening was a 3 course meal. Packed breakfast and lunches for the drives were generous portions and the setting for dinner was lovey with a fire pit, the sounds of nature all around and in a bush setting with lovely lights.
Lastly, the location is ideal - you are one minute from the gate which allows for the chance to get in early, and also to break up a full-day safari as you can pop back to the camp for lunch and a freshen up if you wish.
Truly, a magical time and a great camp. So long as you remember you are in the wild, and embrace the adventure you are sure to enjoy it all 😊
