Highly recommendable hotel.I finally found a place in Sri Lanka with a properly hot shower - such a relief! The location was easy to find, and the bed was comfortable, though the blanket could have been warmer. Moreover, it was prepared a thermos of tea at night for my hike to Adam’s Peak, which was very helpful. I had a very pleasant stay. The staff was really helpful and courteous. The location of the hotel is great and close to everything. Regards.Continental breakfast is very good

Host was super! I just needed to sleep before returning to the airport to meet my cycling tour group so this room was very well located. Never having been to Sri Lanka before, I wasn't sure how to manage. I booked a taxi through Booking.com and paid in advance--it was ~$11. Uber upon arrival may work too. The host was ready for my arrival and kindly offered to help me order food for dinner. I got a ride back to the airport from the Aghasti Close folks for a very reasonable price--so not free as noted online, but not expensive and much appreciated. All in all, I was super happy with my decision to go with Aghasti Close, as anything more in the heart of Colombo would have been a waste of time and money for me.
