Situated in Luqa in the Malta region, Fairwinds - Double Room with Ensuite - Luqa Airport - Self Check In & Out available has a balcony and inner courtyard views. The location was perfect for a stay in this part of Malta. Getting there at night from the Airport on foot in thirty minutes. Do not worry if on Google maps you see photos of construction sites - those are outdated photos! It is all built and paved now, nice to walk on (July 2025). Facilities and cleanliness were spot on.

Nem tipikus turista hely, ezért nyugodtabb, mint Valetta vagy St. Julian, jobban lehet pihenni. Jó a közlekedése, könnyen el lehet jutni busszal bárhová. Viszont kevés étterem van a környéken, főleg esténként van kevés nyitva. Elég piszkos környék.

Gyalogosan vagy tömegközlekedéssel is könnyen bejárható a város illetve a környéke, rengeteg műemlékkel, természeti értékkel. Mi kifejezetten januárra kerestünk olyan desztinációt, ahol pár napra kiszakadhatunk az itteni hidegből és szürkeségből. Nem csalódtunk, nagy szerencsénk volt az időjárással, végig 20-22 C-os meleg, napos idő volt, ami nagyban hozzájárult a remek élményekhez. Nyáron, szezonban nem biztos hogy a fővárost választanám kiindulópontnak a zsúfoltság, túlterheltség miatt - most is sok túrista volt, de így még épp megfelelő volt! A helyiek nagyon kedvesek, segítőkészek, mindenki tökéletesen beszél angolul. Igazi multi-kultúrális város, sok klassz étteremmel. A buszokkal azonban tényleg figyelni kell, épp a visszaúton maradt ki legalább egy reptéri járat, hiába voltunk ott időben, majdnem egy órát kellett hogy várjunk. Azonban uberrel is tökéletesen és olcsón elérhető minden. Tökéletesn desztináció egy kellemes hosszúhétvégére!
