Facing the beachfront, Slettnes Fyr offers 3-star accommodation in Gamvik and features a garden, private beach area and shared lounge. This is without doubt the best hotel of my several weeks long trip to Norway and back again. I discovered it accidentally and at first just came to see the lighthouse and have a dinner. But spending some time there made me think that I actually want to return for a night at this place. And oh boy, it exceeded all my expectations! It was two orders of magnitude better than hotels twice the price. I'm not sure if I've ever met so friendly and helpful staff who really made the whole difference - it felt more like staying at a friend's place rather than at a hotel. The food was great, the bed - one of the best I've ever slept on. And it's a pity I had time only for one night, I already miss this place and want to come back. Oh, and of course - the location and the opportunity to climb up an operating lighthouse! Also, please, pretty please, make it possible to come there for the nothern lights!

Gamvik brakkebo as is located in Gamvik. Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Mehamn Airport is 21 km away. I am so perplexed by how much I enjoyed this stay. The photos looked so unassuming and like it was a makeshift accommodation (sorry, Brakkebo team!). My room had stellar views and a family with a kid was put next door, which made me feel a bit concerned about noise. I NEVER HEARD A THING from my room. I was so shocked at how soundproof the units were. Everything was impeccably clean and the kitchen was fully equipped. I have stayed at thousands of places over the years, and this was one of my favorite stays due to the views and how friendly the woman working there was. Highly recommend staying here in Gamvik!

Davvi Siida - Reindeer Design Lodge is situated in Kjøllefjord and has a garden and barbecue facilities. This apartment features free private parking and a shared kitchen. Everything!!!! It was such an honor staying here and learning so much about Sámi culture and reindeer herding (opportunities and threats). Ellenor and her family are very warm and welcoming and the cabin was beautiful and very clean. Bed was made and awesome 😊. I greatly recommend and hopefully get a chance to visit again. Don't forget to take a look at the beautiful blankets Ellenor designed 😉.

We could hear the waves and it was such a menirsble stormy night with high wind outside, but warm and cozy inside.

A good location for a stress-free getaway in Kongsfjord, Kongsfjord Arctic Lodge is a guest house surrounded by views of the sea. The location was great with incredible views over the bay. We stayed here specifically for bird watching during the second half of May. The peninsula is said to have a good chance to see the Gyrfalcon, we didn't see it but the walks are great on its own and the nature is simply stunning.
