The accomodation was very close to major tourist attractions, and also the view from it was majestic. Our room was very comfortable, with a comfy bed and a great sofa it was a great place to rest in. It was very well equipped, and it was just perfect. The homeowners were very kind, friendly and helpful. They advised a lot of tourist attractions, and helped us with anything we asked for. We will definitely visit them in the future 😊

Apartments Avio mette a disposizione un alloggio con giardino, ristorante e bar a Zgornji Brnjik e dispone di WiFi gratuito e vista sulla montagna. Avio is a short five minute drive from the airport (so convenient!) and the host Suzana was such a delight to speak with. I have been to Avio before and will go back again in a couple months. The apartment is spacious, the kitchen adequate and the sofa bed quite comfortable. I love the windows (a bit like skylights on an angle, but ones in which you can get a good view of the houses below) and the filling breakfast in the bar area downstairs is highly recommended.

Jagodic Garni Hotel is located in the village of Vopovlje, 3 km from the airport and 18km from the city of Ljubljana. Traditional hotel run by a wonderfully kind and helpful family who went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. The most comfortable bed, high quality pillows and linens and beautiful decor and furnishings throughout. There is an out of hours guest kitchen for guests to prepared their own food and drinks should they choose to. However, there are not grocery stores or restaurants close by. There is a vending machine selling snacks and dehydrated noodles and pasta if you don’t manage to get to the shop. The breakfast is hearty and varied. This hotel is close to the airport and offers optional paid transfers. It’s close to public bus stop too making visits to Ljubljana city and other areas easy. The hotel is located in beautiful countryside next to a stream. Access to lovely walks and cycle routes using the hotel as a base. A welcome change from the soulless big international corporate chain hotels. Would highly recommend.
