I used this hotel as a stop over whilst travelling and I found it to be very good. The rooms were modern, spacious and clean and had good facilities. Even though the hotel is near the highway, I didn't hear any traffic noise and had a good nights sleep, waking up feeling well rested and ready to continue with my journey. As a lone, female traveller, I felt safe in this hotel overnight. The complimentary products were nice. The staff were friendly and polite and made it an easy process to check in and out

    Huntsville has a great state park, plenty of places to eat, one of the oldest colleges in Texas, Texas Veteran Museum, Prison Museum and plenty of different types of prison see from the outside. We have never experience any crime of even seen any. Very nice small town with great history.

    It is a nice crowded place, neat and clean, quiet, only problem we have here is we never get the downstairs rooms, and always book a month ahead of arrival, kind of hurts us disabled travelers that are up in age.

    There were roaches in the shower.

    There were roaches in the shower. We had to ask for towels and soap and it took over an hour to get. If you close the bathroom door you would see dirt at both corners behind it. You cannot access the front desk with the phone in your room you have to call their number off the website. The beds were so soft that after my back procedure I hurt.
