    Merced area does not have the best hotels and crime rate is high, there is also a lot of homeless in the area of motel Drive. However, my stay at this Ramanda Inn hotel exceeded to expectations it was very nice, clean, quiet all amenities were new and up to date and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It is right next to Dutch, Subway and also a good Mom & Pop restaurant for home style cooked foods, right next door to Dutch Bros walking distance

    Merced is a small city, there are some beautiful places to visit, like Yoshimite Nationoal park, which is two hours from merced. However, you can visit Yosemite Lake, which is next to the University; it is beautiful.

    Despite its traditional charm, the hotel was very comfortable. My room was pleasantly clean, and the beds provided a great night's sleep. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, making check-in so easy. We definitely will be back and stay here again.
