Located on Shelter Island, 3 miles from San Diego International Airport, Kona Kai Resort offers a private beach, an outdoor pool and an on-site spa. Guest rooms feature private balconies or patios. Upon arrival I was greeted by friendly valet. was promptly greeted at front desk and Shannan was every so friendly. Room was not ready as we arrived early. I was able to check in, given access to facilities and parking. When room was ready received a text and given key to room. Family and Adult pools. Bar area by family pool was great. Food is wonderful and great portions. Stayed in newly renovated room so nice

We loved every detail from the colorful parrots and lush vegetation to the peaceful green space where we enjoyed cozy nights by the fire. The pool area was stunning and never crowded, making it even more enjoyable. We had a fantastic time! The ground-level rooms are truly special with direct walk-out access to the garden, simply spectacular!

Overlooking Harbor Island's scenic waterfront, this elegant hotel is 5 minutes' drive from San Diego International Airport. It features free airport shuttles, an outdoor pool and rooms with free... Rooms are comfortable, views are great from the room. Panorama restaurant next door has great breakfast options, heads up for the pancakes!! There is a nice path by the sea to walk and its very close to the airport but not too noisy
