We visited just 2 days after the start of the season and stayed for 7 days. The hotel was very well maintained compared to some other Mediterranean locations we've stayed in. The food at the main restaurant had some daily variation with some themes days in between. The quality of the food was always great, especially the local vegetables and meat / fish on offer. Do try the Flavor restaurant with the wine pairing if you can, it's a great way to get away from the chaos that buffets can sometimes be. We loved the onsite gym which is on par if not above some dedicated gyms in terms of equipment variety & quality. The fitness activities are also great! I can recommend the bike tours offered by the hotel, the mountain and road bikes they have are very well maintained and even for me at 2.07m tall there was something available. Give the archery course a try! Hendrick did a great job at explaining everything and helping us improve over time! Hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful any time of day and no matter the question. The guest service will try to accommodate any request you might have. Overall we loved our stay at Candia Maris and will definitely come back next year for another relaxing holiday.

Definitely a holiday we will remember with affection! The structure is wonderful and clean, the staff always helpful and friendly and what about the food? Fabulous!!! Despite the large number of guests, the food was always of high quality, selected, always different and for all tastes. Usually buffets create confusion and rush, but this is definitely not the case. The same applies to the services in general. The animation team spoke mainly in French, but although it was not our language, we were involved and participated in every activity. In other words, every day was always a pleasant surprise! An experience to be repeated and recounted. Thanks to all the wonderful people who made this holiday memorable!
