The 5-star Asterion Suites & Spa - Designed for Adults is perfectly set on the sandy beach of Platanias, in Chania. It is located just 1 km from Maleme, 3 km from Platanias and 15 km from Chania. We stayed at this stunning adults hotel in Crete, and choosing the all-inclusive package was the best decision we made – just remember to leave tips for the waiters and bar staff, they truly deserve it! The hotel is beautifully designed, with a dreamlike atmosphere. Around the pool, you’ll find both double sunbeds and regular ones, with plenty of spots in the sun as well as shaded areas – perfect for everyone’s needs. There’s also a main swimming pool, a shallow wading pool for pure relaxation, and a private beach where drinks are delivered straight to your lounger with just a quick tap on the app. The rooms are cleaned daily, and the entire staff was beyond amazing – from the friendly team who did everything to make our stay comfortable, to the manager who personally checked in on us. The cocktails from the bar were outstanding, and the food selection and quality at the dinner restaurant were truly impressive. We were on our honeymoon, and the level of pampering we received was simply beyond words. Highly recommended – and we will definitely return!

It truly felt like a Greek experience – fresh, flavorful, and full of variety. From the warm, crispy spanakopita and fluffy pita bread to the olives, feta, and ripe tomatoes, every bite tasted authentic and delicious. The yogurt with honey and nuts was a perfect touch, and the coffee was strong and aromatic, just as it should be in Greece. The presentation was simple yet elegant, and the atmosphere made it feel like enjoying breakfast in a local Greek home. A perfect start to the day – fresh, healthy, and full of flavor. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience real Greek hospitality through food!

The room was comfortable and the breakfasts and lunch buffets were wonderful. The property was very clean and had a lovely feel to it. The pool was excellent. It was a good location for us attending a wedding down the road.

The hotel was wonderful — the staff were friendly, and the food was delicious and varied. There was a wide selection of drinks, and the dishes changed daily, which kept things interesting. There was also a great variety of fresh fruits. We were given the exact room we requested, and it was very nice. The staff constantly checked in to see if we needed anything and if everything was okay. They responded to every request immediately, which we really appreciated. There were plenty of activities for both adults and children. The animators truly put in a lot of effort and energy. We are 100% satisfied with our stay!

We loved our gorgeous beautifully designed room. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was well designed with great water pressure. The food was excellent. We really appreciated that the coffee was freshly brewed and served at the table and not self service from a machine. Truly enjoyed the abundance of fresh fruit. And the amazing desserts. The food was never overly salted but instead wonderfully seasoned. The staff at the restaurant were outstanding. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved the beautiful landscaping and plush cushions on all the loungers. Loved that the beach loungers were free!

The view from my room was breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset when the Cretan sea came to life with activity.
