Yellow Nest is a magnificent boutique hotel located in the Quintana Roo jungle, near Tulum. The hotel features 20 rooms with two categories - Villas, which come with a private plunge pool, and Nidos, cozy rooms adorned with ancestral symbols that exude a mystical vibe. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Erick and the amazing Arturo, the chief concierge and one of the founders of Yellow Nest. Arturo showed us around the property and explained that it is integrated with the Mayan villages, and the main pool is part of a Mayan cenote. Our Villa was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with all the amenities required for a fantastic stay. Prior to our arrival, we had the opportunity to speak with Chef Julio César to arrange a romantic dinner that catered to our dietary preferences of vegetables, legumes, and fish. The presentation was delicately decorated with rose petals and incorporated ancestral decor. The tiradito de pargo was the best dish we have ever tasted, and the vegetarian ceviche with white and black quinoa and passion fruit honey sauce, accompanied by oven-baked tostadas, was a perfect representation of the culture. They paired each dish with a cocktail that balanced perfectly with our taste buds. The evening ended around a bonfire where guests gathered and the moon peeked through the Mayan jungle. The next morning, Manuel, who is responsible for maintaining the property, kindly served us freshly brewed coffee made from Chiapas and Veracruz beans. His warm gesture surpassed any experience we have had before. We also enjoyed the opportunity to experience the Temazcal, which is located near the cenote, and it was a moving and emotional experience. Overall, Yellow Nest is an excellent hotel that provides an experience beyond what we expected. The staff's genuine care and attention to detail made our stay unforgettable, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional getaway.

Beautiful resort, great food and amazing staff! Noe and Louis at the pool bar were excellent! Spa was incredible! We stayed in an ocean front unit for our honeymoon which wasn’t cheap but highly recommend it!

The experience was incredible. From the moment I arrived and was greeted by name at the door, to the attentive check-in process, and the delightful aroma in the reception area, everything was perfect. The staff provided exceptional service, giving a thorough tour of the hotel and explaining every detail. The restaurants were wonderful, the nightclub had great music, a fantastic band, and excellent drinks. The attention on the beach and at the pool enhanced the experience, providing maximum comfort.

This stunning beachfront resort is set on the beautiful strip of Punta Cancun and framed by the Caribbean Sea, where you can enjoy a white sand beach and clear-blue waters. I don’t remember in my life staying at a hotel with such a dedicated and competent team. May this message be passed on to all the staff. From the maintenance worker to the waiters in all the restaurants. We were greeted with a ‘good morning,’ a hand on the chest, and a smile the whole time. Everything worked wonderfully well.

Absolutely everything about this resort is incredible!! We were celebrating our honeymoon and it was magical spending our time in secrets Akumal. Everything is done to perfection and that’s all thanks to the amazing staff they have. We loved seeing the entertainment team everyday and getting involved in all of their activities. Max, jonas, Abraham and Gina were amazing ❤️ The food and drinks in the resort were such high quality. We loved the pizza by the pool and also loved the grill for dinner! We snorkelled with the turtles which I’d highly recommend! Amazing experience! Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so incredibly enjoyable. We didn’t stop smiling the entire trip and we have memories forever!

All inclusive service was amazing from table service, silver service, wine tasting & room service at no additional charge. Staff could not do enough to make each guest feel welcome.

This Kempinski Hotel Cancun features 2 outdoor swimming pools, a spa and a private beach. It offers modern rooms equipped with an iPod docking station, CD player and cable TV. The staff was incredible. The service was the best I have experienced in Mexico and have been traveling there for many years. We traveled to Nizuc in Cancun a few weeks ago and the service was so much better at kempinski. It was also quieter and overall a better experience. The rooms were also cozier at kempinski. We will 100% be back.
