Set in Palo Alto in the heart of Silicon Valley and 1.5 km from Stanford University, The Clement Hotel – All Inclusive features a heated outdoor pool, a hot tub and private cabanas. My husband was an outpatient at Stanford med center and spent his days in the room, unfortunately pool construction was very loud and made daytime resting impossible. I was able to take advantage of nearby shopping to enjoy my day.

The place is really comfortable. The staff is courteous and helpful. The room was very clean, and the included breakfast is varied and good.

Located 5 minutes’ walk to University of California Berkeley, this historic Berkeley, California hotel is elegantly kept. An indoor swimming pool with high ceilings and big windows is featured. People at Reception were incredibly friendly, kind and helpful. Our room was lovely, comfortable, overlooked a lush courtyard. The bathroom was good, roomy enough and the shower was outstanding. Breakfast was good (pastries especially), but otherwise fairly ordinary. Swimming pool must be seen to be fully appreciated. The building was constructed in 1929, is still well maintained, was designed by woman architect, Julie Morgan, and described as Romanesque and Moorish. Lots of places to sit and read, work or just take in the period still reflected in the furnishings and ambience. My wife and I are trying to find an excuse to return sooner than later.

Located 1 mile from the Wine Train and Oxbow Public Market, this Napa B&B offers on-site spa services. Guests can relax and socialize with an evening wine reception. Charming Victorian House which is kept tidy and comfortable. If you book an accomodation like this, its about the charme and the history. Please dont expect something fancy like modern bathroom, elevator or sound proof rooms. Breakfast was excellent: fresh fruits, yogurt, granola, choice of 2 Juices, coffee and tea, and a choice of 3 different main dishes which will be served - super nice service by Emily. Its just a 10mins walk to city center. Parking is available.

Santa Clara University is less than a mile from this hotel. Free Wi-Fi and a free daily continental breakfast is offered. Rooms feature a flat-screen cable TV. Property was new, clean and well furnished. The air conditioning and cooling was good and the internal room furniture was as expected. The breakfast was unlimited with a lot of options including eggs and other bread items. The reception lady was friendly and happy to help.

The location was fine. There is a beautiful park and walking path adjacent to the hotel. The room was nicely updated, the bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. I was pleasantly surprised. The outside of the hotel is deceptive because the lobby, restaurant, pool area, and the rooms in comparison are stunning!
