I've had the pleasure in the past of staying at Sol Vitoria Marina. I like the central location of the Hotel and generally the staff, or some staff spoke some English. On this occasion communicating was limited. The room was privately owned and not connected to the hotel. I had to pay an additional $R40 daily for the breakfast. That was not expected. In addition I was unable to get the WiFi from the room that was controlled by the owner of the room. I had to use the lobby to connect to the hotel's WiFi. The room needed repairing. The window seams needs upgrade. It leaked when it rained, The bathroom ceiling plaster is falling and badly in need of repair. The safe was not usable due their being no lock. The ceiling plaster in the living/sleeping quarters is falling. I advised future users of the hotel to check to determining if they are renting a hotel room or a room owned by a private owner. There are distinct separations from the unit and hotel when requiring service. I still like the Sol Vitoria Hotel and will consider staying there in the future. I just have pay closer attention to what I am paying for. I did like several of the staff members on the hotel side. They were very helpful.
