Every day started with a lovely breakfast, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The accommodation we stayed in was amazing, attention to detail, stylish décor, and beautiful hidden lighting that created a wonderful atmosphere. The location is ideal, strategically placed with a pharmacy right downstairs and the beach just 200 meters away. The terrace offers a stunning view. Overall, the entire island is full of amazing beaches and great food options, from gourmet restaurants to traditional tavernas. It truly offers everything you could ask for.

Irene and Virginia are two fantastic hosts, always there for questions, suggestions, and even more. The rooms are very well furnished, silent and with a great view. They also let us find typical product in our room, as a present. We'll be back for sure!

Iannis welcoming us at the port, where he picked us up without even asking, was just the beginning of a perfect 1 week stay in Astypalea. The Studio was confortable and beautifully decorated in a traditional greek style. There was always a nice breeze going throug that kept the studio cool and at night we didn't need th a/c. The Studio was cleaned every day amd they put new little bottles of soap, shower gel and lotion in the bathroom, and in the kitchen some honey, butter, cookies, marmelade and a bottle of wine. We had a huge terrace with a stunning view of Hora, the sea and the mountains, where we had breakfast, practiced yoga and our baby daughter crawled and joyfully played around. Iannis and his family, who was staying in the apartment next door, where the nicest hosts one can imagine, made us feel at home and wanting to stay at Drougas forever. Surely we will recommend it to our friends and will stay there when we come back to Astypalea. Efharisto poli for everything Iannis, it was a real pleasure to meet you!!

I can't imagine a better location on the island, insane view from the terrace of the Venetian castle and the sea. Impeccably clean. Featuring sea views, Votsalo provides accommodation with balcony, around 600 metres from Pera Gialos Beach. Featuring a terrace, the 2-star aparthotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The property offers soundproof units and is located 1.5 km from Church of Panagia Portaitissa. The hosts are really welcoming, heart-warming and helpful. We were picked up and also brought back to the port (and got help with our luggage) on our departure day. We were getting very helpful tips about which beach we should visit according to wind and weather forecast. Apart from the above, we received little homemade treats of local products everyday. The rooms were very clean. Next to the rooms there was a nice little beach for a morning dive (2min. walk). The rooms had a sea/beach view, which was amazing. The perfect getaway! The rooms were very quiet and only 10min walk to town. The biggest supermarket of the island was round the corner. We would definitely recommend Votsalo! The overall experience of our stay was very good!

Both a bicycle rental service and a car rental service are available at the aparthotel, while cycling can be enjoyed nearby. Grandmas breakfast was amazing with so much choice and everything was delicious - especially the orange cake and buckwheat pot. The bed was huge and very comfortable. I was very happy to see many eco choices made at Kallichoron and on the island. The location is perfect - right next to the windmills and close to many bars and restaurants. Highly recommended.
