Very easy to use the bus to get into town and to the airport. I took the bus from Ålesund and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was.

We enjoyed our stay at the Alesund City Apartments located in Storgata 24. We stayed at the apartment for two nights while we explored Alesund and also enjoyed a day long catamaran fjord trip from the nearby port. The apartment was impeccably clean and had all the amenities one can hope for a comfortable stay. The apartment had a 2 in 1 washer/dryer which we did not have to use but it good to know we had access to. The beds and blankets were cozy and made for a restful night. The apartment came equipped with a full kitchen. We appreciate that the apartment came with full curtains. This allowed for proper rest given the sunset time in the month of June. The ferry port was within walking distance as well as many restaurants and shoppes. In conclusion, we recommend the Alesund City apartment for a family of 3 or more looking for a convenient location, a quality stay, and a need for extra room to stretch comfortably during a stay or need access to a full kitchen and washer/dryer.
