We stayed at the building with studio rooms, but went to the rooftop spa zone at the neighbouring building. Highly recommend their restaurant Beer house with the live music. Exceptional musician is on Tuesdays And I liked how the staff treats you in general

Valley of Nuns Holiday Apartments offre una terrazza a Curral das Freiras, a 15 km da Porto Turistico di Funchal e 19 km da Cabo Girão. Manuel was really friendly and gave us loads of great information about Madeira and local area. Place was clean and we could even wash our clothes.

Luciano and Sarah were 2 wonderful "hosts" ... always available and very kind .. perfect apartment, comfortable, quiet and with the plus of free internal parking ... if you intend to visit the splendid island of Madeira, the best place (logistically) is Funchal and these apartments are in an excellent position, very close to the center but out of the confusion! if (and when) we return to Madeira this is where we will stay!

The residence is a part of Vila Porto Mare resort, consist on 3 hotels with beautiful rich gardens and large nice pools. The apartment was very spacious with a lovely terrace and view to the garden, well equipped with all we need in the kitchen and bathroom. Very clean and maintained apartment, daily housekeeping, Strong wi-fi, very large and comfortable beds, quite and calm. 10 of 10 for the apartment. The area od the gardens and pools are really magnificent, both in day and night, you can't stop wandering around and look everywhere. Very nice view of the sea. The staff in reception always very kind, smiley, friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were excellent, rich, tasty, varied and fresh with all that you may ask for breakfast buffet. Good location outside the center of Funchal, close to the beach, the Lido and with many restaurants in the In the immediate vicinity. We used Bolt to travel to the center of Funchal or to close restaurants. There is a big supermarket near the complex and it is very convenient. We had a rented car and there was no problem to find parking place outside the hotel. The only downside is that we had only 4 nights and not more. Next time in Madeira, we surely return to the residence, for more nights. Great place for couples and for families with kids in all ages. Again, the areas of the pools and gardens are amazing. The Residence is really highly recommended place for all its components – The Apartment, The staff, the public area, the pools, gardens, the breakfast, the location and the total maintenance and appearance of the resort.

Ubicato a São Martinho, a meno di 10 minuti di auto da Funchal, il Vila Marta offre sistemazioni con terrazza privata e vista sull'Oceano Atlantico e sulle piantagioni di banani, e serve panini caldi... I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of my stay. The location was excellent, the accommodation was elegant and meticulously clean, and the hosts were warm, polite, caring, and exceptionally friendly. I highly recommend this place. When I return to Madeira, this will be my first choice.

Our stay at the villa was almost perfect. We really appreciated the absolute cleanliness of the room, its convenient location, and the hosts’ attention to detail. The delicious welcome gift was a pleasant surprise. The room had everything we needed for a comfortable long-term stay. The surroundings were peaceful and quiet, which was also very important to us. The only aspects that could be improved are the quality of the bed linen (it felt quite synthetic to us) and the water supply.

Matthias and Koni will spoil you with an amazing and delicious breakfast and give you all the best details to enjoy the island. The room was perfectly clean and comfortable with amazing decoration. The villa has a great vibe and history which is well preserved by Matthias , the heart , the soul and the mind of the place . I was impressed by the hard work, passion and dedication which everyone from the staff have . One of the best accommodation I’ve ever experienced and I travel a lot, if I will return to Madeira I will definitely choose Villa Quinta Torrinha always.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Madeira! The host was absolutely fantastic – very friendly, helpful, and always available when we needed anything. The apartment itself was spotless and comfortable. The kitchen had all the basic equipment we needed, the bathroom was great, and the beds were really comfortable. The location is perfect – right in the heart of Funchal, close to everything. It made it so easy to explore the city and enjoy everything it has to offer. Overall, we were very satisfied and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Madeira!

Il WiFi gratuito è in dotazione in tutta la struttura. - we had a great room at 6th Floor with amazing view from balcony!! - we loved to have the combination of using all the pools & comodities of the big Pestana Casino Hotel but at the Same time have a room in the smaller, quieter building - room was cleaned every day!! - public parking space was easily found nearby (cheaper than Casino Parking) - kitchen was very basic, but sufficient (no coffee machine, but we brought our own small Bialetti ;)) - old town is a little walk away, but there are a lot of nice Restaurants and Bars nearby; also close to port where you can Take the ferry to Porto Santo
