I stayed for 11 nights, and I have to say, I LOVED the stay, every part of it. The location is quite accessible from the old quarter, and there are lots of food options available near the hotel. The building is very clean and the room is very comfortable as well. There’s a roof top you can go to enjoy the great view of Hanoi and the sunset/sunrise. There is a cute dog that you can pet. The wifi in the room is great, fast and stable. I was working with my laptop and had multi Zoom calls but had no issue. I stayed in the room with balcony so the view from the room was amazing. If you stay 5+ days you can use the laundry on the rooftop too. Every morning you get to order a complimentary coffee or tea from variety of menu. I will definitely come back to this hotel when I visit Hanoi in the next time. Above all, the staffs are beautiful people. They always make sure that everything is good with my stay and provide support as necessary. Special thanks to Son, Ariel and Celina for being very supportive and friendly throughout the stay! Son - you were very friendly, fun to talk to. I loved the conversations we had in the morning while you made me really delicious Vietnamese coffee. Also thank you for all the recommendations for food in Hanoi. Loved Mỳ Vằn Thắn!! You also taught me some useful Vietnamese I can use in restaurants, which was very helpful. Thank you! Ariel - you were so bright and welcoming from the beginning to the end. I am grateful for all the support in my check in as well as check out. Whenever I came by the lobby, you always smiled and asked if I had everything I needed. That made me very welcomed throughout the stay. Thank you! Celina - you were so friendly and Thank you for all the list of recommended restaurants in Hanoi. You also cared about the weather, like when there was a cold day, you suggested that I bring a jacket so I don’t get cold. That was very sweet of you.

The room was exactly as described and depicted by the pictures. That's why I didn't bother to take any of my own to post here. Staff and security were very friendly, helpful and nice. They helped arrange taxi pick up from airport, restaurant reservations, et al. It's everything you would expect from a property.

JOY APARTMENT TAY HO nabízí sdílený lounge, terasu a nepřetržitě otevřenou recepci. Jezero Ho Tay je 4,6 km odtud. Na místě je dostupné Wi-Fi zdarma. The staff were very helpful! Hanna is great! Our room was clean and comfortable! Each unit has a washing machine on the balcony, which is wonderful! Enough basic dishes and cookware to make your own meals. We bought an inexpensive dish drainer, a few more cooking utensils, and a couple of extra dish towels as we stayed for 10 weeks. Close to Lotte Mall with a large supermarket in the basement. Also, a small WinnMart down the alley--a few steps out the door. Try Jewel Diner down the road. Several bus stops nearby. The city busses are an inexpensive way to get around. We found that Google Map was usually very accurate in routes and times, often better than the Hanoi Bus app. We are headed back to Hanoi for another month and will stay at Joy Apartment Tay Ho again!

Ms. chau the owner was very hospitable she even allowed us to store our big luggages because we were not allowed to bring one to our booked tour. Her grandma was so adorable too. she even gave us a detailed guide to self check-in. Location was quiet and near a café. 😌

Before this place, I tried other 5 different hotels in the old town. But they were all fraud. Incredible problem in Hanoi. But this hotel is true, and the pictures are real, not fake like in other hotels.
