Great accommodation with easy parking and the view from the window of the city as designed for photographers. The facilities in the apartment were of a very good standard, the bottle of prosecco was a nice bonus. The town centre is a very short walk down steep steps (... and back up again : (), Tesco and restaurants are only about 150m away. Definitely worth the money.

Rooms were beautifully and comfortably furnished, with all amenities required for a quiet weekend away. The facilities are impeccably clean, tidy, and well maintained. It was wonderful returning to a warm room at the end of many a cold, rainy, and blustery day. Kate, the general manager, went above and beyond with ensuring we got the keys even after the reception was closed -- we were very grateful to her for that. Location is excellent, just a stone's throw from the waterfront and with excellent food options nearby.

Set in the heart of beautiful Ambleside, this apartment is perfect! It has stunning views of the town and mountains, and we didn't need to move our cars once throughout our stay. It is close to shops, walks and restaurants/cafes/pubs. It was easy to find, lovely and spacious, and stocked with everything you might need.

My wife and I stayed at Hawkshead suites for 3 nights as part of our trip in North England and Scotland… This is maybe the second time in my life I describe a stay as PERFECT. In fact, everything was perfect, the location, the service, the suite itself: its layout, design, amenities etc… every single detail has been looked at to make the stay a very comfortable and luxurious stay… Even the welcome pack that they sent by email was so well prepared… It includes all the details and answers all the questions that you may have about the Suite, the village, the activities! We were travelling as two couples and the set up here was perfect. Two good size double rooms and very well equipped. There are several good walking trails from the property. A short walk to Rydal where there is a good bus service to Ambleside, and beyond.
