This is an authentic house with a large terrace and a stunning view of the ocean and São Jorge Island – a perfect place to stay and enjoy peaceful evenings after busy days exploring the island. A very attractive, nicely decorated 2 bedroom suite on the top floor of the host's home. From the balcony off the living room and master bedroom there is a beautiful view of the fields below and the ocean beyond. The kitchen is well equipped, so it was easy to cook our own meals. Sandra spoiled us with a welcome basket of goodies that included a jar of homemade jam! There was also a decent supply of coffee pods, some teas, and basics such as olive oil, vinegar, and salt and pepper, which we appreciated. After we were unsuccessful in booking a taxi to take us to the Sao Roque ferry terminal, Sandra came to the rescue and arranged a ride for us. The only improvements I would recommend are a light over the kitchen sink and a heated towel rack in the bathroom.

First of all the host and her family are the most accommodating and friendly people of the island ! Nothing is a problem and everything is possible !Secondly, the decoration, facilities, location… all that was perfect. A feeling to be home .Finally, the Pico welcoming plate was extremely touching, in this place you are handle as a temporary member of the family, this is wonderful !!!
