Built in 1853 and right on the picturesque Fürstenweg, a small path leading to Neuschwanstein Castle, Gutshof zum Schluxen enjoys a quiet location in the middle of fields with grazing cows and horses, and Queen Marie von Bayern stayed here with her sons Ludwig and Otto. Füssen and Reutte are only a 10-minute drive away.

Very quiet and peaceful location; great base for exploring Fussen and the castles are nearby. Beautiful home, in a gorgeous setting. The balcony was lovely to relax on. Ample parking space. A supermarket (Mpreis) is super close by car and the room had a fridge and stovetop to cook meals.

Boasting lake views, Königsblick Poppler offers accommodation with balcony, around 13 km from Museum of Füssen. With garden views, this accommodation provides a patio. The apartment also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. This place is very cosy and welcoming. Our room was really spacious with a nice balcony with a view over the mountains. The bedroom was small but comfortable with a tv and large wardrobe. The living room was very spacious with a kitchen and dining table, sofa and a second tv. The apartment is well decorated and modern. What I also liked was the little deli in the entrance of the residence where you can purchase drinks, cheese, fruits, eggs, homemade cakes and more. They use a honesty box where you can put the money in which is very convenient if you need anything or to buy some local products. We wished we could have stayed longer!

Fantastic apartment, Stunning mountain views,there is a lot to in this area with castles and activities, but above all a very warm and welcoming owner. She managed to communicate all the necessary information about the apartment and area to us despite us not being able to speak a word of Austrian. Her son was on hand if needed as he spoke good English. She even gave us a parting gift of some local delicacies.

Kitchen is well equipped incl microwave, toaster & dishwasher. Bathroom is very modern...& everything smells just lovely. 10 -15 mins walk into Füssen town, 5 mins walk to Forggensee (lake). Would highly recommend and will try to come again!
