The walk to the old town takes you through a nice park with good views. The space was all mine and I could do laundry from all of my traveling very easily. There is also a mall that is very close and has good options for a late night snack.

There is a Tv in the drawing room which was very helpful on rainy days when it was a bit difficult to go out. The area was very safe and the apartment is right in the center of Annecy. There are a lot of restaurants, cafes and bakeries very close to the apartment. Only the 2 flight of stairs might be an issue for people with mobility issues but we absolutely had no issues. I would surely recommend this place in Annecy. Thanks to the host for making our stay super comfortable.
