Free parking in nearby mall was a bonus. Nice restaurant (Kizuna) and cafe down the road. We stopped off here briefly on route to other parts of Crete, arriving late and leaving the next morning so didn't spend a lot of time exploring Heraklion or the local area.

Set amidst landscaped gardens, all apartments and studios at Kavos are air conditioned and have a spacious balcony or terrace. They are fitted with an LCD TV, kitchenette and fridge, and enjoy free Internet access. The staff was amazing! They were super friendly from the beginning and great with our kids. We tried many restaurants around Chania but kept coming back to the hotel for dinner and lunch since the food was so good. The setting was great and well located. The pool was clean and very kid friendly. Even though Crete is a big island we will probably end up staying at this property again in future.

The room is new, clean, modern, really beautiful. The neighborhood is very nice, with pleasant atmosphere at night, some gift shops and restaurants. Great value for money.
