Lesbia and Julio are very warm and welcoming hosts. They made me feel like at home, we had nice conversations and it was a great pleasure to stay with them for some days. My room was huge with a big balcony directly above the water - very cool! The location is not in the Flores Island but in San Miguel - so if you search for a calmer non touristic area that's your choice! From Flores it is easy to arrive with a small boat in about 5 mins. Also recommended to book the tour to Tikal etc. and transports with them, they offer for a good price. And it is helpful to know some Spanish as their English is limited (but Julio is learning!) 😊 muchas gracias 🥰

A really beautiful, clean hostel with super comfortable beds with two pillows! The staff here are incredibly kind and helpful and really went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The terrace is absolutely amazing, you could sit and watch the world go by on the lake for days. The breakfast options and coffee are amazing and relatively cheap. The hostel offers a range of tours and shuttles. The rooms and bathrooms are incredibly clean and the hostel has a wonderful chilled and relaxed vibe. Could stay for a month.

My stay at Casa Zoila was absolutely fantastic! The spacious terrace was a highlight, offering breathtaking views of stunning sunsets. Located in San Miguel, it’s conveniently close to Flores, accessible via a quick and affordable boat taxi ride for only 10Q. I highly recommend Casa Zoila for anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay in the area.

Just loved the plant-covered terrace looking out over the water and the boats coming and going . Right outside the room and a great spot to chill out (and do your washing or listen to music or a podcast!)

The room is really great to spend some time relaxing, it’s a 2min trip with the boat from Flores (10Q per trip). The pool is really appreciated with the heat and the hammock as well. Also the man who was present in the hotel was super helpful and really nice, he made our stay amazing a big thank you to him.
