The apartment is big and beautiful. It was super clean and comfortable and had 2 double beds so could sleep 4. Aircon worked really well. The apt is about a 30 min drive from the town centre. It is just outside a little village called Cara. You would need a car if you want to explore. The reviews mention a private beach opposite which is not a beach...it is a piece of rock with sun loungers and a ladder into the ocean. Not suitable if you don't swim. However, an 8 minute walk away is a stunning beach called Zitna Beach. This is pure heaven. The water is stunning...clear and sandy and so so calm. The beach is rocky but we were fine with beach towels. There are no shops or restaurants so bring food/drinks. Near the apt are 2 restaurants...Albertos which has lovely views and a pizzeria with amazing pizza. For us we loved being away from the hustle of the main town....we would defo come back but would rent a car /scooter to explore.

Captains Beach House was perfect for our family of 6. It had everything we needed, with the water at our front doorstep. It was clean, and Marko the host was very welcoming. I definitely recommend staying here as the famous Zitna beach is a 8 min walk or 5 min drive and it is perfection! You have restaurants & a supermarket close by. I would definitely recommend this place.

We had the most wonderful stay at this villa on Korčula! I came with seven of my friends and we all absolutely loved everything about it. The villa was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed — it had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. The private pool and outdoor barbecue area were highlights for us — perfect for spending time together and enjoying the gorgeous Mediterranean weather. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bedrooms were cozy and clean, and there was plenty of space for everyone. The location is truly amazing — just a short walk from the sea and the old town, yet peaceful and quiet. The view from the villa is absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset — it felt like a dream. Having private parking just 50 meters from the villa was also a huge plus. Our host was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. He made sure we had everything we needed and gave us great local tips. It really made us feel welcome and taken care of. This villa exceeded all our expectations and we would 100% recommend it to anyone visiting Korčula. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

Great location close to city center. Great safe storage for our bicycles. Guest house also provided an appetizer at a restaurant nearby if you had dinner there. A nice touch.
