I have visited different places in Sri Lanka, but this is the most comfortable of all the villas where we have been. I think its price should be higher because the service, atmosphere and decor are top notch! I would really like to come back here again, because you can live in this place. very nice and kind family, where you feel at home or visiting friends! We had the most wonderful vacation in our lives in this beautiful villa. Affordable price, availability of a housekeeper and a cook who will prepare wonderful local dishes at a very low price, and also cooks to order whatever you wish. Wonderful spacious rooms with bathrooms, hot water, air conditioners and fans in each bedroom, internet. The owner is a very kind and pleasant person who directs the employees to help the guests in everything. They helped us with everything, even if we didn't ask. They advised us on where and what to buy, or bought for us themselves, helped us rent a car, tuk tuk, plan excursions (which was very convenient and cheaper than we would have done it ourselves). A very beautiful and large area with a large pool complemented the wonderful impression, great location, excellent infrastructure nearby, 5 minutes to the beach. The owner is constantly in touch and ready to help with any question. There is a doctor's office and a pharmacy nearby. There is also a washing machine in the villa, which is very convenient. Every 3 days the rooms are cleaned, linen and towels are changed. Both adults and children really liked everything, we are sincerely grateful for the excellent service and attitude. All the best!!!

We stayed at Nilupul Villa for a month+ and it was amazing. The owners are extremely nice, super friendly people, always helpful. I needed a desk to work at, and they were so kind to arrange one for me. 😍 It is a perfect place for a longer stay. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, lots of storage facilities, hangers, shelves and lovely wooden furniture. 1 bedroom is air conditioned, both have the fans on the ceiling. There is also a moskito net over the bed. Our favourite spot here was the balcony/ terrace surrounding the 2nd floor, with the view of palm trees, birds, squirrels 🐿️ and even bats in the evening. The neighbourhood is quiet and the house is located amongs the local houses, very close to the beach. ⛱️ There is a small local shop nearby selling drinks and snacks. You can take a walk to 507 restaurant offering a variety of fresh, local food. Nilupul Villa is the excellent price to quality ratio. There is also a washing machine, well equipped kitchen with a gas hob, glasses, cups, forks etc. The beds are very comfortable and the place is clean and nice. Highly recommend. 👍🏼

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that every aspect of my stay was perfect. We had a super nice stay at Wallama Villa and even extended it twice. Chandi and Amila are such warm hosts and we felt very comfortable with them. The room is clean and big enough. The bathroom very nice. They have comfortable mattresses so you can sleep well. It's nice and quiet at night and you can hear the sound of the waves. You can use the kitchen, which is very convenient. Everything is there to cook something. There are sunbeds to relax in the garden overlooking the sea. We had a great beach and it was nice to swim here at that time. In the evening there are often fabulous sunsets. Supermarket, train station and city center are within easy walking distance. We say thank you for the wonderful time and wish the dear family all the best for the future.

We liked the location, its next to the river. And with tuktuk or car You can go the beach, Ambalangoda or any pleace pretty easy. There is plenty of space inside and outside the villa. The Ganganada team took really good care of us and made sure we had the best time there. The food was truly amazing, especially seafood lovers will appreciate it. We will definitely be coming back.

I normally don't leave reviews but this villa is an absolute gem and deserves a visit. It served as the perfect place for me to relax after a series of busy days on the road. From the moment I arrived, I was enchanted by the stunning location and accommodation that felt like a luxurous hotel. The warmth and hospitality of the owners truly made my stay exceptional. They picked me up from the station and greeted me with a fresh coconut upon arrival. They offered me the use of their bike for exploring and gave tips on what to do and what to eat. When I expressed interest in going on a boat safari across the lake, they arranged it for me and even made sure the boat picked me up right from their backgarden! Additionally, they offered me breakfast and made me an authentic Sri Lankan dish for lunch, which was one of the better food I had here. In essence, the couple shows warmth and hospitality, which together with the stunning location and accomodation, made me feel at ease and well-cared for. Definetly worth visiting for a few days when traveling through this area.
