A truly inspiring, relaxing and revitalising stay at Grace's and Matthias' household. The host family was super nice, they were very inclusive and kind-hearted. The stay was the highlight of our trip to the Philippines, the nearby waterfall was amazing. Ginatilan is an authentic place that is nice to visit. Good loctation, close to some very pretty falls and far less busy then Kawasan. It is on the road of the Ceres bus from the port to Moalboal, so when you arrive by ferry you can take the bus and ask to get off here. If you continue travelling to Moalboal, you can just wait for the bus outside the property. The room was spacious and clean, and we enjoyed the pool, our own terrace and the peace. Samboan is very close (1 min by scooter), where you can find a few small eateries.

We loved our short stay in Ginatalan at the cabin. Edelyn was a fantastic host and made sure we had everything we needed. She also waited a long time for us to give us the keys as we had terrible signal on the drive from Cebu city. We arranged some trips to nearby waterfalls and visited the local town for ingredients to cook our dinner ourside on the porch. The cabin is very nice and has everything you could want for a few days. We especially liked the chilled atmosphere and rural vibes of the location.
