Jean was very kind - luckily one of us spoke French so we could communicate. Room super clean, and great balcony and views. Surrounding area is gorgeous to explore, though not always easy to find the start of walks, and not always of the challenge of some.

We loved everything about the Villas. The location was perfect, tucked away near the river with a 15 minute drive to the national park. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was brought in a basket every morning with fresh pastries and bread, fruit, yogurt and cereal. The access to the river was great, we spent most days swimming and relaxing by the water. Both the kayaks and the SUPS were free to use. We had an amazing time and will definitely be coming back.

We had a truly unforgettable stay at this wonderful house in Gerês! The location is simply perfect—nestled in the heart of nature, yet close enough to explore all the beauty that the Gerês region has to offer. One of the absolute highlights was the stunning pool, which offers breathtaking views over the river. We spent hours relaxing by the water, soaking in the peaceful scenery and listening to the sounds of nature all around us. The house itself was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. But what really made our stay special were the hosts. They were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always ready with great tips about local sights and restaurants. Their kindness made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a serene escape in Gerês. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Lovely apartment with a great view. Well equipped and nicely furnished. Patio/decking outside was much bigger than expected and really great in the hot weather. About a 15 min walk to the small town where there was a small supermarket and a couple of restaurants/bars (few more if prepared to walk a little further). Walk back is up a steep hill, so keep in mind, but that's what allows for the lovely views. Great scenic location.
