This was one of the most beautiful and luxurious places where we have ever stayed! Our room with huge terrace was gorgeous, both modern and functional, and tastefully designed with antique furniture. The bed was large and very comfortable. We slept with the double doors wide open, and woke up with a view of the mountains. Since the weather was good, we spent much time on the terrace, which was our extended living room. The fancy espresso maker in the room did not have decaf capsules, so after mentioning this to our hosts, they graciously provided a different espresso maker in the shared kitchen. That kitchen has everything you could wish for. The bathroom attached to our room was new and gorgeous, with a bathtub as well as a shower.

The facility was exactly what it promised. The view was fantastic and the hosts were very welcoming.

Garni Morettina is a family-run hotel, located in the centre of Brissago, a 2-minute walk away from Lake Maggiore. Every room has a terrace or a balcony with lake view. Located right next to a stunning view and still being able to be in ascona or locarno in a few minutes. Public transport is right next to the hotel if you dont want to take the car to get there. Owners are very attentive and helpful. The breakfast was also good! I’ll be back!
